-Description: The Civil Regime is the USA of Avin. During the Western War, they were allied with the majority of Hitherean states against the Western Alliance, but abandoned hope and became a neutral nation, effectively leading to the Western Alliance’s victory. They are the single most technologically advanced nation on Avin and have recently sent a manned (or is that avinoided?) probe to Avin’s nearest moon, Avin I.

-Description: The Western Alliance used to be a clump of minor-powers of on the western tip of Hithar. During the Western War, they formed an alliance against the enemy and so defeated them. After the war, they never split up.

-Description: The Disciples are an Atlantian-like nation that nearly exclusively worship the Shon’Dah, the largest Avin Creature on Planet Avin. Living at the edge of the Deathan trench in some places, the Desciples have had numerous encounters with the Shon, leading them to believe that they are the chosen amongst the Avinoids. What exactly this means, however, remains a mystery.

-Description: The Cult of Darkening Shadow are a radical religious nation that believe in the power of shadow, darkness, pain and death. Retual sacrifices are often done in the caves and catacombs they occupy. Few know of there existance and those who do avoid their territory like their lives depend on it... decause they do.

-Location: The tropical forests of Hithar, near a mountain with a deep cave in it, where the Cave Avinoids live.

-Description: They try to be friends with others, but if others are to hostile, then they will fight. They all very much enjoy flight, and are becoming quite adept at it. The Aero Avinoids live outside the caves where the Cave ones sleep, and would guard the caves during the day. At night they would switch, and through all of this hunting patrols would be sent out to get food, the species according to the time of day.

-Habitat: Tropical Jungle
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: Though it looks like a hunter, the Mawhead is actually a docile graser. It eats the leaves and fruit off trees, though it will snatch up small prey when it gets the chance.
-Uses: When aged, the Mawhead's mandibles are ivory-like and have the same market prise. The mandibles are commonly used for decorative perpouses, while the Mawhead's "body armour" is used for just that, body armour.

-Description: The lion of Avin, this species of Zhon is perfectly capeable of taking on even the largest of prey when together in a group. The pride lives together in a termite-like underground "nest".
-Uses: The spikes that make up the Spikemaned Zhon's mane are used by the Sand and Jungle Avinoids as arrow tips and tribal dresses. When beat into a powder, the horns on the Zhon's tail can be used to cure many ailments.

-Size: Large
-Description: The Seiqua is a large, aquatic creature mainly found on the ocean floor. Though they never get onto dry land, the Seiqua do surface to breath every couple of hours. They feed off smaller marine live.
-Uses: The Seiqua's skin is highly prised in for sea-exploration, for it is water proof and strong, thus perfect for diving suits.

-Diet: Herbivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: A grasing animal on Avin, the Decles are adapted to running from their predators. The males usually have larger crests than the females. They are one of the main prey items of the Spikemaned Zhon.
-Uses: Betting races. Avinoids would let a group of them (usualy tagged with seperate numbers) run around the caurse in a dog-race-like fasion. They would bet on who they think would win and would loose/win credits accordingly. These are called "Decle Races".

-Habitat: Cave systems / Jungles
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: The Krelt are bio-luminecent creatures that spend nearly their entire lives in darkness. As larvae, they are capeable of firefly-like flight in the jungles of Deathar. As they grow, their wings loose their use and their tails gain stings. From here on, their scorpion-like lifestyle starts. Once cave-dwelling, the adault Krelts feed of algea on the cave walls and hunt fellow cave dwelling species with their tails.
-Uses: The luminecent blood of the Krelt are used in lighting, since it needs no charging.

-Habitat: Jungles
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Small
-Description: Perfectly camouflaged in it's enviroment, the Jungle Stalker hunts by waiting for unsuspecting prey to come by, then stabbing it with it's back legs.
-Uses: Their back "feet" are used by the Jungle Avinoids as dagger-like weapons.

-Habitat: Deapsea trenches / Occasionally coral reefs and beaches
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Gigantic
-Description: The single largest Avin species, the Shon mostly live in deepsea trenches. They occasionally come on to shore to reproduce. Their pearl-like eggs will hatch in the sand and the larvae will enter the sea. They are not only the largest, but also the most inteligent Avin species, capeable of speaking a whale-like language and craft items. The Avinoids revere them as weather gods. Infact, the Shon are one of The Three.
-Uses: The Shon are worshiped as protectors and controllers of the natural prossesses of Avin.

-Description: Living along the sandy beaches and deserts of Deathar, the Sand Walker has a lifestyle similar to that of camels, storing water in special humps. Special vents near the hump ciculates air to keep the Walker's body cooled down in the hot climate of Deathar.
-Uses: The Sand and Jungle Avinoids, quite litteraly, use the Walkers as pack-camels.

-Size: Large
-Description: The Deathar Steed is one of few fully upright Avin species. The top two of their back potrutions are each able to take the weight of a fully grown Sand Avinoid, while still allowing the Steed full manuverability and speed.
-Uses: The Sand Avinoids and occasionally Civil Avinoids are able to ride the Steed with ease, hence the name.

-Habitat: Mountains / Forests / Tundra
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: The Frost Drake is specially suited for an icy lifestyle. It's flattened, smooth layer of fur insulates it againsts the cold, while the icy burows that they build help keep them warm. They anually migrate from Northar to Hithar and back again. They are capeable of eating anything organic, even bone.
-Uses: Some Frost Avinoids are able to use Frost Drakes as transport. Their insulating fur it also used for clothing and other protection against the cold.

-Location: The homes of Avinoids accross Avin
-Habitat: The homes of Avinoids
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Small
-Description: These little creatures are used as pets by some Avinoid Species. The yellow growths on their tails give off an intencely pure aroma (realy good smell) that they use to attract a mate. Sadly, they are no longer found in the wild. Every living Quini today is domesticated. Three noticable differences between adaults and juviniles are in skin colour eye colour and the size of the groths on the tail, that are little more than boulges on a juvlinile and do not yet give off any smell.
-Uses: The Quini are widely used as pets by most Avinoid species, especially the Civil Avinoids, as can be expected.

-Habitat: Forests / The homes of Avinoids
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Small
-Description: The Foxes of Avin are the scavengers of the forests. Mostly found on Hithar, these foxes are adapted to wet summers and cold winters, digging themsleves a burrow. They feed off small animals and are incredibly playfull when in a group. They are about the size of a housecat and some use them as pets.
-Uses: Some Avinoids use Foxes as pets, while others shave them like sheap and use the fur for clothing. The Foxes grow their fur back rather quickly.

-Diet: Herbivore
-Size: Large
-Description: The Caltops is a grasing animal from Hithar's forests and highlands. It has a very unique eye possision, not seen in most other Avin creatures. It uses it's claws to scrape the bark off trees to get to the sap, as well as for self defence.
-Uses: The Caltops' claws are widely used for medical perpouses, since is containes a chemical that gives a calming effect to the recipient when entering the bloodstream. Why this would evolve into the claws are unclear.

-Habitat: Deserts
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Large
-Description: The dune scorpion is one of the top predators of Deathar. I hides, camouflaged in the sand, only it's head barely visible on the surface, waiting for unlucky prey to come by.
-Uses: The sting of the Dune Scoprion contains a paralising poison witch, in the right amounts, can be and is used as an anestetic. The hard exoskeleton is also used to manufacture body armour.

-Habitat: Forests / Highlands
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: The wolves of Avin mostly live in cold, wooded areas such as Southern Northar and inner Hithar. In winter months, they trade their slender brown fur for thick white fur. They mostly eat small animals, but hunt large prey in packs.
-Uses: Many forest- / highland-dwelling Avinoids have domesticated the Wolves and use them for hunting perpouses. In city life, some breeders have created a blood-hound like variation, used for the same perpouses humans use blood-hounds and other scent-dogs for.

-Diet: Herbivore
-Size: Gigantic
-Description: Unlike it's desert cousin, the Rabenor is the sise of a Megeladon (realy big dinosaur) and can not be riddin. It has a lifestyle similar to that of elephants and giraffes, though it is mostly jungle dwelling.
-Uses: None

-Habitat: Jungles
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: The Veloci Raptors of Avin, this species of Zhon prey apon creatures such as Decles in packs of up to five. The pack is part of a larger termite-like colony that usually make their nests in trees and soil.
-Uses: The Jungle Avinoids use the horn on there foreheads for ritual perpouses.

-Habitat: Fresh-water lakes and rivers
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: The Lake Sail is an aquatic creature from the fresh water lakes of Hithar. It can usally be seen floating on the lake surface in pods, using it's unique head-crest as a sail. To hunt, it wil fold down it's crest and dive down after smaller lake creatures.
-Uses: Believe it or not, Avinoids can and do actually ride these! Though each Sail can only take one pasenger at a time, it is fairly popular for Avinoids to host Sail races.

-Diet: Herbivore
-Size: Tiny
-Description: This tiny forest-dwelling creature makes a living off eating fallen leaves and tiny plants. They are often gobbled up by predators, though can easily scurry away at a surprising speed.
-Uses: Some use the Gibble as nothing more than exotic pets. Some Avinoids even find them a delicacy!

-Habitat: Forests / Cities
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Tiny
-Description: Closely related to the Gibble, the Mitte is Avin's rat. Found in nearly every city on the planet, the Mitte are extremely adaptable. They are also found in forests, usually under rotting leaves.
-Uses: Untill recently, most Avinoids have seen the Mitte as nothing more than a pest, but recent studdies have shown that they are also perfect for finding hidden landmines, similar to the rat of Earth.

-Habitat: Ice caves and ice plains
-Diet: Omnivore

-Description: This cousin of the Decles shares many similarities, excluding the fused back and front feet. They live with in the icy caves and open ice shelves of Northar, with little to fear other than the Frost Drake, their main predator.
-Uses: None

-Habitat: Jungles and forests
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: A close cousin of the Quini, the Hellcats are the exact oposite in nature. Instead of an aluring aroma, the checmical on the Hellcat's tail is a deadly poison. They are incredibly territorial and will likely kill on site. A far cry from it's house-pet relative.
-Uses: According to Jungle Avinoid myths, a Hellcat sighting is a very bad omen, and considering they prefer to attack on sight, this is probably true.

-Habitat: Mountains / Forests / Highlands
-Diet: Herbivore
-Size: Gigantic
-Description: A close relative of the Caltops, the Calterra too, have a strange eye-configuration. These behemoths feed off micro-fungi in the soil by literaly burrying themselves alive. When plants (usualy a patch of trees) start growin on their backs, they know it's time to move on on break out of their tombs, usually causing a small earthquake
-Uses: Because of near-constant exposure to micro-algea and plant spores, the Calterra's skin is incredibly fertile and make perfect garden fertiliser.

-Diet: Herbivore
-Size: Small
-Description: The crickets of Deathar comunicate with one another by rubbing their back legs against each other. To protect themselves against the heat, they hide and sleep in underground burrows during the day, and come out to feed and sociolize at night, resulting in an evering caurus, much like the sound of crickets on Earth.
-Uses: The Sand Avinoids have created many myths and legends surounding the Cricket's sounds. Sand Avinoids also use their hardened back legs for ritual perpouses.


-Species Name: Jungle Tyrant
-Classification Name: Tyrantus Gigantus
-Family: Monocrestids
-Appearace:

-Habitat: Jungles / Savanna / Deserts
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Gigantic
-Description: The Avin equivilent of the Tiranasaurus Rex, the Tyrant is the single largest predator on Avin. Found, not only in jungles, but also in deserts and savanna, the Tyrant can survive almost anywhere, givin a large enough suply of food. The only creature in it's habitat that it can not take on is the Rabenor.
-Uses: Once dead, the meat is harvested by Jungle Avinoids. Half is eaten, the rest is sacrificed.

-Family: Dicrestids

-Location: Nearly all vulcanoes areas on Avin
-Habitat: Jungles / Vulcanic Mountains / Vulcanic plains
-Diet: Carnivore
-Size: Large
-Description: Living on the slopes of active volcanoes, the Ash Dragons are adapted to extreme temperatures and noctious fumes. Camouflaged on the black slopes, this dragon can easily catch prey unnoticed. The apparent "fangs" found on males are, in truth, hardened streaches of the skin used to show off, not fight.
-Uses: The skin of the Ash Dragon is highly prised for both decorative and ritual perpouses, aswell as being heat resistant and thus used for heat-proof clothing.

-Classification Name: Kimeus Kimeanus
-Family: Polycrestids
-Appearace:

-Location: Scattered islands in the Southern parts of the Northern Sea
-Habitat: Jungles
-Diet: Omnivore
-Size: Medium
-Description: The Kimeun is one of the rarest creatures on Avin. The only surviving memeber of it's genus, it too is near extinction. Found deep in the jungles of only a few scattered islands, it is a rare sight indeed. Some scientists even debate it's existance, a few claiming it to be nothing more than a fantasy.

Avinoid Gods:


-The Jailen'Jah (Jay-lin-jah):

The are the creators of the Avinoids, the Jailen are, in truth, not gods, but an incredibly secretive race of omni-intelligent beings. The Avinoids have long known of their creators, yet no physical contact has yet been made. Statues of the Jailen are numerous in most Avinoid cities.

-The Aaril'Ka (Ah-rill-kah):

The Aaril were the first non-Avin species that the Avinoids came into contact with. Like the Jailen'Jah, the Avnoids revere them as gods, though they were actually, like the Avinoids, created by the Jailen. Being one of the two only extraterrestrial races yet to make contact with, the Avinoids believe them to be their “Saviors” in a sence.

-The Shon'Dah (Pronouced as read):

The single largest Avin species, the Shon mostly live in deep-sea trenches. They occasionally come on to shore to reproduce. Their pearl-like eggs will hatch in the sand and the larvae will enter the sea. The Avinoids revere them as weather gods because of their great size (that of an Airbus A380) but also because the Shon are the single most intelligent non-Avinoid species on Avin.

Description:
Bio: The leader of the Cave Avinoid side of the nation, he is one of their flight masters. He was born to his job, and his parents died when he was almost to young to become leader, although he did become leader.
